В истории Липецкого края особняком выделяется личность учёного Нины Михайловны Штауде, которая стояла у истоков зарождения астрономии и космонавтики в Росcии. Установлены новые факты (роль семейного религиозного воспитания в становлении личности Н.М. Штауде, её активное участие в организации Первой Всесоюзной конференции по изучению стратосферы и вклад в изучение теории комет) и систематизированы известные сведения о жизни и деятельности этого учёного. На фоне описания непростого жизненного пути Н.М. Штауде (аресты, ссылки) предложена реконструкция её научного творчества. Впервые дан анализ работы «Фотометрия Луны» (1928), и выявлена роль учёного в развитии теории комет (разработка методики определения абсолютной звёздной величины кометы). Отражены педагогические возможности знакомства с личностью и научным наследием Н.Н. Штауде в обучении астрономии и физике.
In the history of the Lipetsk Region, the personality of scientist Nina Mikhailovna Staude stands out in particular, who stood at the origins of astronomy and cosmonautics in Russia. New facts have been established (the role of family religious education in the formation of N.M. Staude's personality, her active participation in organizing the First All-Union Conference on the Study of the Stratosphere and her contribution to the study of comet theory) and the well-known information about the life and work of this scientist has been systematized. Against the background of the description of N.M. Staude's difficult life path (arrests, exile), a reconstruction of her scientific work is proposed. For the first time, the analysis of the work "Photometry of the Moon" (1928) is given and the role of the scientist in the development of the theory of comets is revealed (the development of a methodology for determining the absolute magnitude of a comet).The pedagogical possibilities of getting to know the personality and scientific heritage of N.N. Staude in teaching astronomy and physics are reflected.
